How I Work

After receiving your enquiry I will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time to come and visit your property and assess the extent of your mole problem. Every job is unique and it is very hard to quote unseen and without having first seen the damage.

Gardens & Small Open Areas

Visits 1 & 2

If you are agreeable to my terms on my first visit I will set as many traps as I deem necessary and run them for 3 visits from the day they are set. I will come to you on visit 2 to check all the traps and if possible, I prefer you to accompany me when I do this. In the majority of cases I catch everything that is there by the 2nd visit.

Visits 3 & 4

I will continue to visit on days 3 and 4. The reason I run the traps for a further 2 days is that once I have removed the original culprit(s), there is nothing to defend those feeding areas. In my experience if anything is going to move into a vacant territory, it normally happens within 24-48 hours of the territory becoming vacant. On average 75% of the jobs I do I catch migrant moles on the 3rd and 4th day.

How I Charge

I charge a rate per visit, agreed on the initial visit and payable for the 4 visits. This charge will never exceed 4 visits and if I haven’t caught everything there by the 4th visit I will keep the traps in the ground until I have cleared the area. An important thing to note is that I can only catch what is there whilst I am doing the job, and can’t be held responsible for anything that may move in once I have finished.

Agricultural Land

I carry out a significant proportion of my work on agricultural land. On such land and where a number of moles are present I charge per mole, at a price agreed after an initial survey of the land in question.
