Charlie recently succeeded in catching the elusive mole which had been systematically causing chaos in my newly created garden.  I appreciated the way that Charlie explained the process and allowed me to watch as he set the traps and carefully removed the turf, putting it in the shade so that it could be replaced the following week.

We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending Charlie for dealing with any mole problems. Although on the first visit, the 'resident' mole had successfully avoided Charlie's traps, the second and fourth visits caught the initial culprit and a mole chancing his arm at taking over the territory recently vacated!

Although right on the edge of his service area, Charlie agreed to come out to our house to help with our mole problem. He studied the area of our lawn and immediately established where he thought they were coming from. Being interested in 'how things work' I asked him many questions which he was more than happy to answer. His obvious passion and respect for the little creatures was easy to see and I felt immediately that he knew exactly what he was doing and had many years experience doing it.

He laid a surprisingly large number of traps, carefully removing a slab of turf for each trap so it could be returned afterwards without sign. It took just two return trips to finish the job. I would heartily recommend Charlie to solve any of your mole problems, and he is a thoroughly nice chap to boot.

Eventually the destruction my one mole was making in my garden was just too much.  I needed him gone but humanely.  I found Charlie online and his testimonials were excellent.  After a quick phone call, we arranged a date.  Charlie was prompt, professional and compassionate to the mole.  He used old tried and tested methods that were indeed humane.  There is some skill to setting the traps in-case you think anybody can do this and the traps you can buy are not a scratch on Charlie's and have the potential to distress the mole which I was very much against.  Charlie was successful and my garden is now recovering well.  I just hadn't realised how much digging one mole had done.  Also, no mole no fee arrangement.

I hope I never have an issue again, but at least I know who to call without hesitation if I have to. Thanks Charlie

We called Charlie when the mole activity on our land was out of control. He arrived promptly, assessed the situation and returned next day to set the traps. Almost all the culprits we caught within 24 hours but Charlie returned every 2/3 days to check the traps and to observe further activity. He soon caught the remaining moles and ensured the site was clear. We had a big problem with moles on our lawn, which were coming in from the field below. Charlie attended promptly to set some traps and returned many times over several weeks until the problem was dealt with, catching many moles in the process. In a rural setting we expect to get periodic visits from moles, but by this autumn things were getting out of hand. The multiple mole hills on our lawn had become a real eyesore and their tunnels were undermining several recently planted shrubs. Luckily we found Charlie through his excellent (and very informative!) website and he dealt with our problem promptly..

By his fourth visit we were mole-free and he had accounted for a total of six moles. I have no doubt trapping by an experienced expert like Charlie is the most humane way to deal with the problem.

He works neatly and efficiently, leaving no trace of where the traps have been dug in and his ‘no mole, no fee approach’ is excellent value. We hope we don’t have to, but we would not hesitate to call on his services again.
